Sunny Markers

Sunny Markers are designed and developed by a Kiwi Occupational Therapist. Fine motor skills can be the path to independent learning and curiosity for little ones, and has a big impact on children's emergent literacy, communication and connection. Sunny Markers has a vision for all children to be confident in expressing themselves and connecting to their world as curious learners.


Designed to be short and thick in shape, with a grip that works for any young child over 2, supporting children of all ages to improve their fine motor skills and develop a functional pen grasp. This will have wider benefits on their cognitive and physical development, enabling more confident exploration and play through improved sensory learning and concentration. Real examples we've seen in our own tamariki are increased skill in any grasping activities such as using cutlery, opening and closing lunchboxes and bottles, and spending time playing with toys such as Lego and Play-Doh, as they enjoy their improved dexterity. 


In our view here at Bambini, any child from 2 years will reap the benefits and really have fun 'getting to grips' with Sunny Markers :)
