This ātaahua bucket hat is a design collaboration between Aotearoa creative Miriama Grace-Smith (Ngāti Hau, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Toarangatira and Ngāti Porou) and Moana Road.
This pōtae hat has been made from recycled plastic bottles - its a vibrant stylish design that's also environmentally friendly!
Miriama Grace-Smith is a full-time artist, based in Wellington where she works from her studio at Toi Pōneke. Miriama dabbles in a few different areas within the creative arts, as a curator, muralist, illustrator, fashion designer, film costume and art director.
